Mabuhay ang PILIPINA!

Ms. Philippines Shamcey Supsup wins as the fourth most beautiful woman today September 12, 2011. She is crowned as 3rd runner up in the prestigious Miss Universe beauty pageant held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The title being won by Ms. Angola Leila Lopes.

  With the recent winning of our national candidate who ended up as the 4th most beautiful woman in the world I am featuring here the winnings of the most beautiful Filipinas in the past years. All photos are from google images.
Gloria Aparilla Diaz - Ms. Universe 1969         
Gloria Maria Asparilla Diaz , the first Filipina to bring home the Ms. Universe crown, is one of the 12 children of the Diaz clan of Aringay, La Union. The 5 ft. 6in. beauty and brain Glo  is the sister of another beauty titlist Rio Diaz.  A very versatile Philippine actress, she  is now Mrs. Gabriel "Bong" Daza and a mother to two daughters Isabelle and Ava.
Margarita Moran -  Ms. Universe 1973
In 1973, 19 year old granddaughter of  former Philippine President  Manuel Roxas, Maria Margarita Moran Roxas was crowned Ms. Universe which made her the second Filipina to win the prestigious title. In addition, she also got the Ms. Photogenic title. The 5 ft. 6 in. beauty is now married to Congressman Antonio Floirendo Jr. and owns the Pearl Farm in Samal Island, Davao del Norte.
Mimilanie Marquez - Ms. International 1979
Mimilanie Laurel Marquez won the title Ms International which was held in Tokyo, Japan in 1979. She also  won there the Best in National Costume Award. She is an actress, a model, product endorser and a personality development coach. She is now Mrs. Adam Lawyer.

Ms Philippines Aurora McKenney Pijuan won as Ms. International in 1970.
